The collection of UK associations was created with a view to have a backbone of associations so the sport of mountain boarding could grow along with the ATBA. 

Since then SOBA has gone from strength to strength. In this current 2010 season we have more fundays, free-riding, freestyle, boarding and general SOBA partying than ever.
