Welcome to SOBA.

SOBA, the southern offroad boarding assocation was formed in 2000 along with the creation of the founding UK boarding associations. The collection of UK associations was created with a view to have a backbone of associatations so the sport of mountain boarding could grow along with the ATBA.

Since then SOBA has gone from strength to strength. In this current 2006 season we have more fundays, freeriding, freestyle, boarding and general SOBA partying than ever.

What is Mountain Boarding?

A mountain board is an all terrain board for getting or going anywhere. It has 4 pneumatic tyres which are range from 8 - 13 inches. Allowing a mountainboarder to ride everywhere and anywhere.
