SOBA, the southern offroad boarding assocation was formed in 2000 along with the creation of the founding UK boarding associations. The collection of UK associations was created with a view to have a backbone of associatations so the sport of mountain boarding could grow along with the ATBA.
Since then SOBA has gone from strength to strength. In this current 2006 season we have more fundays, freeriding, freestyle, boarding and general SOBA partying than ever.
From this website you should be able to find out more, get in contact with some boarders from our forum, or just check out, rate and view latest freestyle trickery.

sorry for the downtime last night, it looked like we were hacked. I have upgraded wordpress, and shall be doing the same with the forum, plus changing all the locks on the doors.

Dave has asked me to add the Soba membership form for 2008. I’m sure it comes with loads of great benefits, such as team soba races and other fun events. Membership doesn’t go on Beer… (well at least no longer), so we shall have another super soba year. I will get the benefits of membership soon.

We need an idea of numbers so we can finalise details, basically we will be meeting at Haredown and convoying cars down so we can give lifts etc. We are hoping to get enough people for a group booking and as an end of season bash soba will be contributing to your entrance fee`s

I have been busy recently, I have updated the very messy and bad CSS. I feel sorry if anyone ever needs to edit the code. The blog will allow for news, videos and pictures to be posted faster and more effiencent.
I have some plans for the forum and gallery, but just trying to migrate it to the new servers first.

A mountain board is an all terrain board for getting or going anywhere. It has 4 pneumatic tyres which are range from 8 - 13 inches. Allowing a mountainboarder to ride everywhere and anywhere.
